Becki Does The Big One

TARGET: £1000 CURRENT TOTAL: £1053.62*

To help raise much needed funds, Becki, a friend of the charity Brain Tumour UK, on October 1st 2007 rode the Pepsi Max Big One rollercoaster an incredible 36 times in one day, taking only one short break in the 7 hours the ride was open (click HERE to read a full report of the day).

It's not too late to support what Becki did, and you can donate/sponsor securely with your debit or credit card by clicking the image below (please don't forget to put "for Becki Does The Big One" in the comments).

What is The Big One? Just a Rollercoaster? Take a look at this video. Once may be more than enough for most people, but not for Becki, who did 36 of them, one after the other!

Becki did an amazing thing. Please support her by donating now. Click HERE to sponsor her and donate. Thanks to all those who have already donated and supported Becki.

Each year in the UK, more than 18,000 people of all ages are diagnosed with brain tumours. 40% originate in the brain itself. The rest spread from elsewhere and affect 20% or more of all cancer patients. Incidence has increased over the last 30 years but the diagnosis for far too many brain tumour patients remains bleak.

The effect on patient, family and friends is profound. Yet research is grossly under-funded, and support for those affected is fragmented and inadequate.
